Apartment Progress!

My loves. Please forgive me for my lack of blogging. I've been so busy with RoseVintage that I haven't had time to post on here. My tour ends mid October so I promise to be back full time very soon! In the meantime I'll be working on catching you up with all of the exciting things that we've been up to!

Here's a little room by room apartment tour!

Dining room:

We wanted our dining room to be light, clean & airy. For furniture we went with a round white table from Ikea & four white Eames chairs. I hung vintage botanical prints with kraft clips on the wall. I love to have fresh flowers on the table as often as possible!

Kitchen:
I have a pretty large collection of cutesy colorful Anthropologie goodies that I've purchased over the years while working there. I love a colorful kitchen! Since it's such a small space we had to come up with clever storage ideas. This magnetic knife holder is a life saver & everyone should have one!

-Rooms that we're currently working on-

Bathroom:
We really want our bathroom to look "apothecary-esque". So far we haven't made much progress. We've actually only purchased two things for this room; this shower curtain & bath mat, which we're really happy with!

Living room:

This room still needs a lot of work. It's adventure inspired (maps, globes & vintage finds). Our furniture is very danish. I purchased this cute fox pillow & these vintage record coasters! Oh & Otis likes to sleep on vintage granny square quilts!

Bedroom:

Oh.. our bedroom, our bedroom. Such a work in progress. I can't believe this but our quilt & shams are five years old. Donovan bought them from Anthro for me as a gift when we graduated from high school. I still really love them but I think it may be time for a new set, I really like this one. It would look so nice with our new curtains! All of our art is vintage finds we've collected over the years. Our bedside table is an antique chair that Dono's childhood neighbor gave us years ago, it's one of our most treasured items!

Garden:
Every time I walk into our "back yard" I instantly feel like I was transported to England! I dream of having vintage sales back there! Everyone would wear hats & dresses! We would drink tea & eat scones!

I hope you enjoyed this little tour!

Fair Fun with RoseVintage!

I've always dreamt of doing a fair/carnival photo shoot... my dream finally came true! I had the pleasure of shooting my little sister, Mariah, at the Monroe County Fair! It was pretty much the first time I took photos for RoseVintage all by myself. Usually I use a professional photographer or my fiance, Donovan. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I really enjoyed taking the photos & wasn't disappointed with the results. What do you think?
