Our New City!

Dono & I are so excited to be living in Chicago! We enjoyed a weekend exploring the city & unpacking. 

Our apartment building was built in 1888! 

I absolutely love so many things about our new place! The ceilings are extremely high, the light fixtures are beautiful (I actually can't stop admiring them), the fireplace is original & the stained glass windows let the prettiest light in! 

I can't wait for all of our furniture to arrive & make this beauty feel like home! It will be very challenging considering we only have 750 sq. feet to work with, but I'm trying to come up with clever storage ideas (any suggestions would be greatly appreciated). I'll make sure to share more photos once we have furniture! :)

With our move to Chicago quickly approaching, my spare time has been spent searching for design inspiration for our new place! I've been incredibly inspired by Cathrineholm bowls and cookware. I would love to have a collection of bowls in shades of red, blue, yellow and green to put in our white built-ins or even just a single yellow bowl for the middle of our dining room table! 

Sadly, I've never been lucky enough to find any Cathrineholm while vintage shopping. Have you? If so, I would love to hear 

about your finds!

Wide Open Fields

Hi lovelies! So sorry it's been so long. During our apartment hunting trip in Chicago, I became extremely sick & ended up in the hospital for a week. After two weeks of rest, I'm feeling MUCH better & happy to be in Michigan with my family! 

Yesterday my little sister, Mariah, & fiance, Donovan, drove Rose (our 1962 Garway camper that's been renovated into a vintage shop on wheels) to the middle of the country. We parked down on a dirt road in front of a beautiful open field, threw on a few of our favorite RoseVintage frocks & Dono snapped photos!
