Can't decide which visitor makes us smile bigger... Gruppa the pup or Karyn the superstar? Okay, Karyn wins because she knows how to boogie!

On the road with Rose!

Hi lovelies! I've been extremely busy on my tour with Rose. I thought I would check in & share a few photos from our recent adventures with RoseVintage! You may have already seen these photos if you follow me on Instagram. I don't like to take my camera to our shows because it's so bulky, but I always have my phone & make sure to post daily photos! To see more photos & updates, follow along on IG: @samanthabalk

The Rust Belt Market

Last weekend my little sister Mariah and I had such an amazing time at The Rust Belt Market in Ferndale, MI! While setting up shop we couldn't help but get distracted by the most amazing vintage, art and handmade goods! The owners, Chris and Tiffany, were so welcoming and made our experience unforgettable! If you have the chance to visit the market, make sure to grab a steak slider and chocolate stout malt for lunch.. you will not be disappointed! :)

Day #1: We wore tropical print dresses!

A few of my favorite details from our first day at

Day #2: We wore high waisted shorts & our favorite vintage blouses!

Our amazing customers:

Many thanks to all of our super cute friends (new & old)! You're the best!

Wide Open Fields

Hi lovelies! So sorry it's been so long. During our apartment hunting trip in Chicago, I became extremely sick & ended up in the hospital for a week. After two weeks of rest, I'm feeling MUCH better & happy to be in Michigan with my family!

Yesterday my little sister, Mariah, & fiance, Donovan, drove Rose (our 1962 Garway camper that's been renovated into a vintage shop on wheels) to the middle of the country. We parked down on a dirt road in front of a beautiful open field, threw on a few of our favorite RoseVintage frocks & Dono snapped photos!

What have I been up to?

Hi guys! I'm so so so sorry I've been MIA. I've been extremely busy with several different projects & exciting adventures! First off, I was featured over on Gentri Lee as blogger of the week.. what an amazing honor! Threadesque now has over 200 followers, thank you soooo much!

Dono graduated from The University of Montana over the weekend! I remember our high school graduation like it was yesterday so seeing him graduate from college was an amazing experience! He already has a job lined up in .... drum roll, please.. Chicago! He will be working in finance at UBS starting this summer! I couldn't be more proud of my boy!

We are headed back to MI to enjoy a few summer months with family before we move to the windy city! I'll be at the Michigan Antique & Collectible Festival on June 2nd & 3rd with Rose! If you're in the area, come say hi! I would love to meet/see you! :)

Rose's First Show!

This past weekend was super exciting for Donovan & I! After all of our hard work & preparation.. we were finally able to take Rose (our mobile shop) to her VERY FIRST SHOW!!! Rose was very popular & at times we had lines of people waiting to pay for their sweet RoseVintage treasures! I received such wonderful compliments & had the best time at The Prairie Sisters vintage market!

A few customers showing some RoseVintage love:

After standing for 10 hours straight.. I needed a moment to sit down & take everything in. Ahh, what an amazing day!

The day after Rose's first event, I gave her lots of love!

Many thanks to all of our new & old friends that came out to meet Rose! Stay tuned for tour dates!

Here's a little preview of how our sweet Rose is looking!

I covered the back wall with vintage maps (DIY coming soon)! We painted the walls a light yellowish ivory, which I just love! Dono installed cork floors & built that seafoam cabinet from scratch!
I must say I'm pretty proud! :)

We will be at our first show this Saturday!

Come say hi! :)
