Here's a little preview of how our sweet Rose is looking!

I covered the back wall with vintage maps (DIY coming soon)! We painted the walls a light yellowish ivory, which I just love! Dono installed cork floors & built that seafoam cabinet from scratch!
I must say I'm pretty proud! :)

We will be at our first show this Saturday!

Come say hi! :)

Valentines Day 2012!

There's nothing better than love!

That's why I love Valentine's Day so much! Dono & I celebrated our eighth Valentine's Day together today and it was our first one engaged! It was quite nice starting the day off with a morning cuddle before Dono had class. He surprised me with a beautiful flower arrangement that he... ARRANGED HIMSELF! For lunch I surprised him with spicy BLT's (recipe soon?) & of course, a handmade glittered Valentine!

We went to The Pearl for dinner, it was by far the best meal I've had in a very long time! We plan on going back very soon! For the final part of our date we went to see, The Vow & may have even teared up a bit....

Hope you all had a wonderful day filled with love & chocolate!

Our Journey - Detroit to Missoula

R o a d   t r i p p i n'

-Detroit
-Chicago
-Omaha
-Missoula

Detroit to Omaha
(stopping in Chicago)

 Omaha to Missoula
(stopping to thrift along the highway)

 HOME SWEET HOME

I found this adorable package waiting at my door!

Thanks so much ANewDayVintage

We had a wonderful time in Michigan visiting family & friends. We're so thankful for the time we were able to spend together. It's always hard to leave but we'll be back soon! Our drive from Detroit to Chicago was really fast. We were able to drop off our friend, Evan & see his new apartment, it's awesome! Chicago to Omaha also went by really quick, we were just anxious to arrive to our friends, Corey & Christie's house. Christie & I had some much needed girl time & the guys had... well, boy time! We went thrifting, did our nails & cuddled on the couch watching movies! Dono's truck somewhat broke down which was a huge bummer, it was a very costly, time consuming repair so it put a damper on our journey.

After it was fixed, we were on the road again to Rapid City, SD where we spent the night. We ordered delicious chinese food & relaxed! The next day we continued on to Missoula while stopping to do some more treasure hunting (just wait until you see all of our finds)! It was a looooooooong journey to say the least but we finally made it! We were so excited to get out of the truck, we raced up to the door & quickly remembered how cozy our house is! Sleeping in our bed while cuddling with Otis was exactly what I've been craving for the last month!

Happy to be back! XO
