The Rust Belt Market

Last weekend my little sister Mariah and I had such an amazing time at The Rust Belt Market in Ferndale, MI! While setting up shop we couldn't help but get distracted by the most amazing vintage, art and handmade goods! The owners, Chris and Tiffany, were so welcoming and made our experience unforgettable! If you have the chance to visit the market, make sure to grab a steak slider and chocolate stout malt for lunch.. you will not be disappointed! :)

Day #1: We wore tropical print dresses!

A few of my favorite details from our first day at

Day #2: We wore high waisted shorts & our favorite vintage blouses!

Our amazing customers:

Many thanks to all of our super cute friends (new & old)! You're the best!

CURRENT OBSESSION: Cathrineholm

With our move to Chicago quickly approaching, my spare time has been spent searching for design inspiration for our new place! I've been incredibly inspired by Cathrineholm bowls and cookware. I would love to have a collection of bowls in shades of red, blue, yellow and green to put in our white built-ins or even just a single yellow bowl for the middle of our dining room table!

Sadly, I've never been lucky enough to find any Cathrineholm while vintage shopping. Have you? If so, I would love to hear
about your finds!

GUEST POST SUNDAY - Le Skinny

GUEST POST SUNDAY

Meet Erica from Le Skinny
The beautiful face behind one of my favorite vintage shops. She has a great selection of vintage clothing & shoes! I love following Erica on Instagram; she has the most adorable twin daughters, ever! I'm honored to have her guest posting about her holiday season!

Threadesque friends and followers! I am Erica of Le Skinny Vintage.
I am a vintage clothing/accessory fein & stay at home mama to twin girls
Emma Blue and Gwenny Rose. I thought I would share bits of our
crazy little Christmas at Nani & Papi's.

 1. Pug Mafia- Zeus, Annie & Lola are the rulers of the roost.

 2. Twins' new snowsuits from Nani & Papi.

 3. Kisses from Dada.

4. Christmas breakfast tradition. My mom's fantasy french toast. Seriously try this recipe. Melted Caramilk pieces inside, yum!
You can find the recipe: HERE

 5. Great-great Grandma Helen passed out. Lay off the liquor, it's still early.

 6. Owl handprint canvases the babes made for their grandparents for Christmas. Click HERE for a tutorial!

Here are my favorite gifts the girls received from us:

7. Booties I made the girls from old, vintage leather & fabric. Try out the pattern HERE

                                      8. Mexican print leggings by Tamè on Etsy

9. Family time.

10. Funglish was the Christmas Eve game of the night. Great game that get's a little dirty by accident.

This year I keep my New Year's resolution simple. Love. Love my babies no matter how crazy or stinky they are. Love my husband for everything that he is. Love every item I choose to be in my store. Love myself for who I am now, not who I used to be.

I hope this New Year brings you joy.

much love x
Erica

RoseVintage Shoot

I styled an amazing shoot for RoseVintage & Cluney Photography a few weeks ago! It was incredibly easy working with our beautiful model, Avery! We shot for two days. The first day was inspired by a vintage urban city girl. I loved layering boho blouses with oversized plaid shirts & denim. The second day was vintage hollywood glam meets holiday chic. Vintage holiday dresses & blouses in shades of red, green & gold! What do you think?
